Digital copy of an old tape record, maybe copied from tape to tape previously.
Which videotape system was used in the US at this time? I remember VCR, Betamax, VHS and V2000 we had here. V2000 was the best but huge cassettes with 8 hrs playtime.

Vhs was used in the home, but large format betamax was and still might be used commercially. Greater video quality, and the cassettes were huge.

Back in 81-82 we got a Betamax after the sales guy said it gave better picture qualith compared to VHS.. but all the cheapskates went for the cheaper VHS and it soon became difficult to get Betamax for latest movies in the renal stores

In the end, every conversation devolves into dongs or the Kardashians.

But anyhoo....can you imagine digging that mess out in the winter, with freezing mud and water filling up everything, in order to haul out a bunch of stinking corpses? As awesome as investigative and forensic work sounds, it's this sort of reality that makes me glad that I chose a different line of work.
