The 1979 Greensboro Massacre was a violent attack that took place on November 3, 1979, in Greensboro, North Carolina, when members of the Ku Klux Klan (KKK) and the American Nazi Party fired on a group of demonstrators during an anti-Klan rally organized by the Communist Workers Party (CWP). The attackers killed five activists and wounded ten others. Despite being filmed by news crews, the perpetrators were acquitted in both state and federal trials.

1. Sandi Smith (28) – Nurse and labor organizer
2. James Waller (37) – Physician and civil rights activist
3. Bill Sampson (31) – Graduate student and labor organizer
4. Michael Nathan (32) – Pediatrician and civil rights activist
5. César Cauce (25) – Cuban immigrant, Duke University graduate

Injured​

• Ten others suffered gunshot wounds or injuries during the attack. Some of them were members of the CWP and other labor activists.

Those Klansmen would have had a field day if they had lived through the George Floyd riots. American society has become too soft in recent years.

I remember being a kid and watching movies like Rambo or Die Hard and thinking that American society had to be a reflection of the roughness of the movies they produced. I know it's stupid to idealize a country based on fiction, but I never would have imagined that 99% of today's freaks would come from this country.
