There are reports of a family in Melbourne who were holidaying In Holland . The Grandfather offered to escort the children back to Australia so the parents could spend a couple of extra nights in Holland together alone .
Would you consider yourself lucky ?
The parents have lost all their children and granddad but if they hadn't stayed they'd have been on the same flight

Yes it is a nasty story . Another Melbourne family was completely wiped out . 2 parents and 4 kids and a woman who only spoke to her husband before the flight was told by media that her husband is dead

Not lucky..it's still a loss.

I agree, sometimes seeing it as it is, rather than sugar coated, is the best way to get the point across. None of us are exempt from war even if we think we are safe.
This is a situation where I could easily say, "I am the unluckiest person to be alive".

With 80 children dead, those soldiers must be real fucking proud of themselves holding up babies toys like trophies!

‘I think the entire Dutch population knows people who directly or indirectly know someone who was on board. There were 80 people under the age of 18, of whom 23 were under the age of 12 and three were babies. It is too terrible for words.’
Images of rebels holding up children's toys were 'too disgusting for words', Rutte said. Such action is also hindering the investigation into the crash, he said.

Where are the rebels taking the bodies of those innocent souls? Those people should be returned to their families for a proper burial.
I agree its terrible, let them have their dignity at least and let the families have some peace
