NightMare, try smudging? Get a metal pan and burn white sage in it, go room to room saying to whatever is there (who doesn't belong) to leave. Some people say use a seashell for a brazier but others say never use something that used to be alive for smudging. Feng shui baby

You are spot on about adding rooms then getting strange activity.
The house I lived in was brand new when bought. My grandfather added a long breezeway in back the length of the house, greenhouse, garage and office.
Then he dropped dead at just 53 years old. 3rd one to die in there, his daughter (only 11) and mother first.
We sold it and the new owner's wife died soon after.
I think something was in the ground and got disturbed and PISSED.
Maybe Indian graves, I lived in a rural area.

I am Native American so smudging is something I do on a normal basis. I really don't want my family members gone, they really don't scare me or anything, they just keep things interesting. I like to think that maybe they are just waiting for me, I just hope they have a long long wait! Thanks for the post!

Well so far I've read no scientific evidence on the existence of ghosts.

Rather than "ghosts", I believe in the complexity of brain chemistry and evolutionary genetic sensations which may confuse the individual into believing something supernatural as a lack of proper understanding of the actual situation.

That being said, I do not doubt some of these peoples' belief in ghosts, UFO experiences, so on and so fourth.

You are right, kinda. There are scientific gadgets they use to detect spirits or what ever people want to call them. Though nothing anyone can say for positive. But you are right about the belief system. The human brain can create a poltergeist with out the consent of the inflicted. Are ghost's and UFO's just a product of our imaginations? Who really knows for sure? Science can NOT say with any accuracy if they do or don't.

I don't start many threads but I would like to know what you guys think about Ghost's and Haunted houses. I bought my property in 1989 and because it was just raw land when I purchased it I had to start from the ground up, no pun intended, so as it is I am the only one who has lived here that I know of. I bought a mobile home and built all the other structures on the property. So as the years have gone by I have had many family members die. About 4 years ago, maybe more than that, I started having weird things happen around the house. Lights go on and off, cupboard doors open and close, hearing voices when no one is around but me. I have seen 2 full body spirits and hear lots of voices. I walked in my bedroom one night and as I entered the door way I saw a full solid arm sticking out from under my bed! I saw that arm and almost shit my pants! It just slowly went back under the bed and I promptly left the room.
I hear lots of voices and see shadows moving across the room, cold spots, the sound of people talking, just general spooky shit. I do believe in ghost's and evidence of their presents is almost a daily for me. I often hear things crawling around under my bed. Some times what ever, or WHO ever it is under the bed, hits the bed and shakes it so hard it feels like something huge under there! One night I was laying on the couch watching a movie with my oldest son and his girlfriend, when suddenly there was a man standing in front of the tv! He was wearing some crazy red coat or long shirt but also he had no head! He stood there for like 10 seconds or and was moving his arms around like he was having a conversation with some one. The other day I was in the shower and also home alone, when I shut off the water I clearly heard someone walking down the hall way. The activity has been increasing lately but I really don't feel threatened by any of the activity.

So I thought it would be kinda fun if you want to share any ghost stories or if you house is haunted I would love to read about it. I have many tales of the supernatural, this is not the only place I have lived where funny things happened and on a regular basis, but this is the most active place I have lived. It is kinda scary to have these things going on, but HELL'A cool! It sure keeps life interesting around here though!!

I had a ghost pull the blankets off my back once. Watched pillows fall off the couch, music turn on, and off. Everyone in the house had some type of experience with it. I was afraid to be alone, but didn't feel threatened by it. It seemed to be playful.
