Lol we have old lift at work that this could happen, the new one has electro mag locks, so platform has to be there to open. We also do not allow people on the lifts, which kinda sucks because I don't get to see videos like this in the safety meetings.
Yeah they weigh 350lbs or so. I know how bad it sucks to get your toes run over by a distracted coworker. I can only imagine it landing on you, on your head from bare minimum 10ft, (we don't know how far he fell, could be 30ft), results in a trip to the ER. That's a best case scenario, it probably killed him.
