No - this one happened on the Apple River in St. Croix County, which sits along Wisconsin’s state line with Minnesota. The guy who did the stabbing - Nicolae Miu, 54 - injured 3 and killed 17 y.o. Isaac Schuman. Miu was sentenced to 20 years in prison.

That’s around the area where I grew up. It’s a fun river when you don’t have jackasses who’ve drank too much and are trying to kill each other.
