Humans will come out fine. But there will be no winners from the war. Instead small societies that survive will suffer and strive to not die. Then after a 1000 years or so will start to branch out again building back up like the ants do in an ant farm after shaking it up.

I think it was George Carlin that said: people believe they’re a destructive force on the earth? Not really: earth has been here a long ass time before we got here, and will still be here long after.

We’re not making “footprint” here, it’ll just shake us off and start over.

How can anything make a permanent footprint? The day will come when the sun will swallow the Earth. Cycles are the only permanence.

Religion has been and will be our downfall. Almost all (atleast major) religions are nothing but death cults, focused on destruction. They will eventually get what they want.

I just hope I go in the initial blast, it will just be a blink. I’m not sure if I’ve grown more or less afraid to die by being a gore fan for decades - seeing the many ugly ways to go…..but a split second nuclear flash is easy peasy.

Better live in a big city then. East coast would be completely wiped out. But it's near impossible because nukes can now be intercepted. In order to arm themselves a nuke has to slow down and when it does it is vulnerable.
