Since it has the tag [Serious] I'm going to give a serious answer, but yeah, Roe vs Wade allowed women to have abortions, and that doesn't always mean some gurl not wanting their baby after having unprotected sex. A lot of miscarriages or other birth defects that kill the baby before it comes to term keeps it in the womb, and without an abortion (the removal of a dead fetus, not the killing of a living one) it could kill the woman, who probably DID want the baby in the first place.

If abortions are made illegal, more women will simply go to more destructive ways to remove a dead fetus, and if they can't, a lot more will die without the proper medical procedures if they need an abortion to live. Some places would rather a woman give 'birth' to a dead fetus (which, again, could kill her in the process) than safely remove the dead fetus. That's why it's a problem.

I don't think abortion laws apply to stillborns. If it's dead, it's already aborted.

The main concern amongst the older white conservatives is being bred out of existence by “those people” or at least the loosing the claim of being the majority. Hence the fight to keep those good, pure Caucasian young women from terminating another future member of “us” (in their parlance) and you really have to feel sorry for these older white conservatives. Bad enough that educated successful White folks are choosing to have either 1 or no kids at all. This really scares these guys. A lot. Yet the care they have stops completely once that fetus is born. That newborn better pull up his bootstraps and not be a burden on the wealthy.

The main concern of most callous folk is trying to find a way to 'poison the well' of replies in order to avoid the obviousness of why future mothers and fathers are against abortions. To callous folk the fact that ~97% of the reasons behind some folk getting abortions is not due to them being harmed but just inconvenienced by a new life.
