So I read you're I guess admission, blog however you want to phrase it and I did not want to rain on your parade. But I wanted to weigh in and give you a little insight into how the inner workings of this process happen and also to say I'm afraid you do not come close to a psychopath I'm afraid, They may have you high on a personality scale like BPD *borderline personality disorder* dissociative disorder possibly things like schizophrenia or narcissistic personality/identity disorder. It takes a lot and I mean a lot of visits to experts as they do not just throw this diagnosis around easily, Given you were being seen for PTSD that can be brought on by a variety of issues, and concerns So if you had concerns for yourself and others If you are being responsible for others and their welfare then sadly you would have not placed on this scale. Psychopathy cannot just be switched on and off I'm afraid they can be liars and charmers to get what they want or they just take it. Some of the well-known psychopaths who I admit were some of the most horrific out there was the BTK killer just look into his life on one hand a husband and father who attended church and was a pillar of his community and then on the other side a sick sadist who lived a separate life of killing, rape, and torture, John Wayne Gacy a pillar of the community inviting police and judges for BBQ's and other members of his neighborhood, Just imagine the kicks he must have got knowing all those bodies were buried in his home and no one knew. Then he would go and find young boys to rape and kill but never admitted to being into men, he even went as far to beat a couple of inmates up whilst in jail as he saw them blowing each other off. Very very sick individuals.
Psychopathy is a Psychological condition characterized by antisocial behavior, lack of remorse, empathy, and being bold. Over the years, this condition is said to be affecting some people. The characteristics of psychopathy are synonymous with other similar conditions like sociopathy.
The term psychopathy was coined in the 1800s which basically means sick minds or suffering souls. Centuries ago, it is perceived or considered to be a kind of moral anomaly. However, the modern interpretation is more sensical.
An individual who has psychopathy is called a psychopath. Psychopaths have the ability to blend in the society or in the crowd making them unnoticeable. As a result, we don’t usually spot a psychopath. In fact, many people have no idea that they already have been along with a psychopath. I Recommend Reading Psychopath Free by Jackson MacKenzie.
Psychopaths are charismatic. They are good at manipulating a person’s emotions and mind. The manipulative ability makes them able to control and influence others.
However, the percentage of people in the world who have this condition is low. But it is incredibly difficult to determine who they are. The common way of assessing psychopathy is through the use of The Hare Psychopathy Checklist-Revised (PCL-R
) It is a diagnostic tool that could determine psychopathy.
The highest total score on this checklist is 40. But the threshold or the rate at which an individual may be considered a psychopath differs in many countries. For instance, in the United States, a total score of 30 may indicate psychopathy. While in the United Kingdom, a score of 25 already indicates that a person is a psychopath.

The Hare Psychopathy Checklist categories four major traits. These traits are Interpersonal, Emotional, Lifestyle, and Antisocial. Here are the discussions of each trait.1. Interpersonal Traits
Pathological lying is one of the most salient characteristics of psychopaths. They use lies to cover up their true purpose. By using the charm that they have, psychopaths win over their target victims.
Their high self-worth makes them crave more power. As a result, they want to maintain the authority and power they have.
2. Emotional Traits
Psychopaths lack remorse and guilt. Consequently, it is easy for them to manipulate or inflict pain on their victims. They will simply get away with the crime they commit.
The lack of empathy makes the psychopaths unaware of their victim’s emotional or physical turmoil. They never hold responsibility for their acts.
3. Lifestyle Trait
Psychopaths are impulsive and irresponsible. They typically have no long-term and realistic goals.
4. Antisocial Traits
Psychopaths always have difficulties in controlling their behavior. As a result, developing a social relationship is a constant and huge challenge for them.
Although psychopaths are rare, they are difficult to spot. You have no idea whether one of your co-workers, classmates, or friends is a psychopath. The 20 traits of a psychopath listed in the scale (PCL-R) will help you assess the suspected person.
The help of a mental expert may aid the assessment process. Like other psychological disorders, diagnosing psychopathy is also a tricky thing to do. It requires expertise and experience.

A bit of an insight into the book.
Have you ever been in a relationship with a psychopath? Chances are, even if you did, you would never know it. Psychopaths are cunning charmers and master manipulators, to the point where you start to accept the most extreme behaviors as normal...Even if it hurts you.
All around us, every single day, human beings devoid of empathy are wreaking havoc and destroying lives in the coldest, most heartless ways imaginable. In constant pursuit of money, sex, influence, or simple entertainment, psychopaths will do whatever it takes to gain power over others. They hide behind a veil of normalcy, arranging their friends and partners like pawns in a game of chess.
Using false praise and flattery to get what they want, they can lure any unsuspecting target into a relationship. Once hooked, their charming promises spin into mind games and psychological torture. Victims are left devastated and confused, unable to recognize—or even put into words—the nightmare that just took place.
