Monkeys are meat eaters. It was probably hungry and would have eaten the tender little morsel. Chimps and baboons will also kill and eat flesh.

I hope the Police charge the monkey and a Court date is fixed. I wonder if monkey will plead guilty to the charge of kidnapping and attempted rape of a minor .

Dude should have just asked the monkey to have a seat. From what I've seen on TV that works on all child snatchers.
