If l had to live in a state where there is a law that can allow someone to shoot another person, "because they feel threatened"

I would take an argument with ANYONE fucking seriously...

A Florida man rammed a U-Haul truck into his new neighbor’s balcony, then allegedly fired multiple shots that killed the neighbor after an argument erupted over the crash, according to authorities.

Christian Freebourn faces charges of second-degree murder for the incident, which occurred when his neighbor, Herbert Harris, confronted him about the damage caused by the U-Haul crash.

According to court documents seen by Law&Crime, Harris emerged from his home to confront Freebourn about the collision and demanded payment for the damage. The situation quickly escalated into a heated argument.

Prosecutors claim that Freebourn warned Harris that he was armed and requested him to return indoors. However, Harris defiantly responded with a challenge, saying “Make me!” He then reportedly advanced towards Freebourn, prompting further confrontation.

In defense, Freebourn asserted that he feared for his safety and claimed Harris was making aggressive movements. He alleged that Harris approached him in a threatening manner, which led him to open fire in self-defense.

During the altercation, Harris sustained fatal gunshot wounds, including one to the eye and multiple others to the neck, leg, and upper chest, according to the criminal complaint.

Harris’s girlfriend, who was present during the U-Haul crash, recounted hearing the collision and witnessing the truck’s impact on their property.

Freebourn, accompanied by his teenage brother at the time of the incident, maintains that the crash was accidental but insists he had no choice but to use deadly force to protect himself.
Under Florida’s “Stand Your Ground” laws, individuals are permitted to use lethal force in self-defense situations, which Freebourn cited to justify his actions to law enforcement.
Despite his defense, prosecutors highlight that Freebourn did not explicitly express fear for his life due to Harris’s actions during the incident.
The teenage brother, who was inside the U-Haul during the confrontation, provided limited details to authorities, stating he did not witness the entirety of the altercation.

Even if you've crashed into their home, and threatened them with your gun, and the home owner tells you to "make him"? You'd shoot them?

Wow.
If I was the home owner I’d be on the phone with my lawyer faster than a black on chicken! But if he charged him in anger that is asking to be shot. I wouldn’t shoot unless the threat continued to charge me after show of force. I think they both have anger issues and the situation could have been handled better by both parties.

Florida. Florida never changes.

Within reason and depending on circumstance, I think if someone had just driven accidentally into my porch the first thing I'd do is see if they were alright, maybe they had a medical episode or some shit? I wouldn't come charging out like a fucking lunatic demanding money. Insurance will solve that issue, surely? sounds like both of them had similar overly aggressive personalities.

In Florida and Texas (having lived in both states) it's a case of if you have a hammer all you see are nails... Aggro rules, not everyone gets shot, but a lot of gun posturing and idle threats from overcompensaters

...I feel "threatened" by niggers...

Floridian retardation, am I right? Only if Hurricane Milton hit a bit more hard through out all of Florida, maybe, just maybe, there'd be no cockroach Floridans left to cause mayhem. Never understood why any sane minded person would want to go there let alone live in such a cesspool.

"Stand Your Ground" Law.

In another person's home.

After smashing into it.

And killing the owner.

And thinking that's acceptable.

Oh Florida...... you really are the batshit state of America.
Why won't people stop moving here. It's out of control

Hey a retired cop shot and killed a guy sitting in a movie theater after the man threw a handful of popcorn at him. He went to trial and was found not guilty. Florida also
