No he’s 100% right. Guy has his foot on the gas which means the cop could of slammed the vehicle into park if he just reached over. Suddenly stopping the vehicle poses the same risks as well, the suspect could just regain control of the vehicle immediately and slam the gas intentionally. A struggle may ensue. That’s why it was dumb for the cop to go into the back of the vehicle in the first place. I’m not saying you’re wrong, just want to understand what the best option is in this situation.
