To a degree. Doesn’t matter how rich you are? If you go to the ER? You’re waiting your turn for a few hours. Fastest way to be seen is by ambulance. However be prepared to pay out of pocket for ambulance as most insurance doesn’t cover ambulances. Only thing insurance is good for is if you have an illness. Illnesses without insurance you’re going to die because they don’t treat illness for free. Only emergencies are required treatment

My brother shot up heroin...till this day I'm having thoughts about what I COULD have done, even though I did everything I could to make him stop...one day he looked like he was sleeping on his keyboard in front of his pc with his hair covering his face, and my mother told me to check on him, and this heavy cloud of dread and fear pushed me towards him...when I touched his bare back he was ice cold...fuck I would never forget that day. Tbh I think the reason alot of addicts wont go to an hospital is that their gonna push for them to go into rehab. Thats their job.. but when your not ready to get clean, you dont want to hear it. Cant force or convience someone to get help when they dont want it. Its sad but reality..

When I went it was only because I was ready to ger clean took years for me to realize what I was doing. Best choice i ever made.

Probably 15 years ago, when Krokodil emerged in Russia, I watched a video showing a young male wheel himself into a hospital.
A doctor proceeded to remove his leg (which was literally nothing but bone), above the knee, with a bone saw, right there in the corridor. The guy turns around and wheels himself out of the door. Fucked up shit.

Usually get just enough to fight off withdrawal symptoms! It’s stupid, hence, I quit. Why don’t they? Methadone is easy to get nowadays. Then taper off. Easy!

Good for you! Those hards drugs always scared me. I tried coke and i hate that addictive feeling where you want more. I tried different drugs but it's too much for me. I just stuck to weed lol
