Well, we have to level the battlefield.
The Germans get the STG 44 and the training on it. Because let's face it Mausers would be almost useless in that gunfight. All other organic weapons are fine.
The Cartel has no body armor. Because the Germans do not.
They are both given a battlefield that neither knows.
Bother are given equal/worthwhile rewards for victory.
I'd say the battle-trained Germans take it.

I just don't think it's comparable, because the SS didn't have the technology or even the means of communication we have today.
Let's just remember that the Nazis were ahead of their time in many areas, including ecological laws that were 70 years ahead of their time. They also invented the concept of guided missiles in 1944 by attaching a TV camera to a missile. Even the blitzkrieg came from them.

Even with the technology of the 1940's, the Dirlewanger Brigade wins it, they are smart, Nazi Germany was a force to be reckoned with that's why it took 3 Empires to took it down, the USA, The British, The USSR, and all their colonies, pretty much all the planet without a single major ally in the West, Italy was broke and weak, demoralized, been into 3 Wars( WW1, Spanish Civil War, Ethiopian War) even before the Allied Invasion of 1943 so Italy doesn't even count, there are reports of Allied soldiers having their life saved because the weapons that the Italians had were so bad, they were from WW1.
