Another unsuccessful attempt by the Russians to advance near Novomykhailivka (Marіinka direction).
This time, the Russians made two mechanised assaults to the north and south of the settlement.

In total, the Russian Losses of 15 Armoured Vehicles was visually confirmed Destroyed:
🛑 7 Tanks
🛑 6 IFV
🛑 2 units could not be accurately identified.

the worst part of modern war is that the battlefields are covered in worthless junk - the corpses of the dead don't even have silver or gold coins in the pockets. You'd be lucky to find anything of value and more than likely step on a landmine and die. In the old days, like in the 1800's after a battle the civilians would scavenge and find all sorts of treasures - swords, silver coins, gold, and they didn't have to worry about landmines or booby traps. Heck after Napoleon's retreat from Russia in 1812 the Russian peasants became rich, over 400,000 dead Frenchmen to loot - all their pockets over flowing with the looted gold and treasures of Moscow plus gold coins Napoleon paid them. Now soldiers pockets contain just worthless fiat paper compleatly useless and no value and coins made of tin. Disgusting.

Yes but the people were so humble that they just blamed that stuff all on the devil and got on with their lives. They would say two prayers and believe they were safe and many of them would be. Now we think too much, die too little, and live too long.
