Serious Supreme Court Overturns Roe v. Wade, Ending 50 Years Of Federal Abortion Rights (3 Viewers)

The one thing that sticks out most about this is not the morality of it, But it is the fact that they have made a change to the constitution and we all know what that means. First abortion next guns then freedom of speech you watch as soon as they have that kind of power there is nothing stopping them. A right is a right and a decision needs to be that of the person not of a government body.
Clearly, this is one who've never read the actual Constitution of the USA. SMH...

I always love the enthusiasm in pro 'choice' advocates in killing babies and ignoring their rights to 'their body their choice'
And I always love the enthusiasm of “pro life” advocates whom go to great lengths to protect a fetus, but once the fetus becomes a born child, withdraw all support and tell the kid “you’re on your own kid! Pull up them bootstraps and don’t ask me for shit!” And people wonder why the u.s. is becoming a deeper ShitHole every passing day........

abortion is not mentioned in the constitution, the matter is determined by the states

The US is a shithole yes. But if you engage your brain you'd realise that poverty is directly correlated with welfare. I come from a welfare class and I've seen the toxic, self destructive lifestyle they live in. Being poor really is a mentality. Change their mentality and they'll improve their situation. Welfare keeps voters for politicians who want people under the control of the state.

As for your arguments against pro life, it's funny how you 'choicers' never address the fact you're killing children, you use ridiculous excuses such "you don't care for kids once their born" yet conservatives are much more likely to maintain the nuclear family and give to charity than socialists. Also use rape (a barbaric crime only impacting a tiny proportion of abortions) to cover up the fact you know what you're murdering because rape is also a bad thing to do.

At the end of the day, in 99% of cases (like poverty) better life choices would result in a better outcome. You don't need to murder a child to rectify your own failings as an adult.

so now roe vs wade is overturned. and next is going to be an attack on birth control. thus creating more pregnant females out there. babies being put into the system because theyre unwanted. or more females getting into the system to live. not like the strain on the whole thing is bad enough already. so how about men getting snipped then? since abortion is illegal and birth control will soon be too. its only fair. right is right.
this is all bullshit. i guess these judges are bored and dont have anything else better to do than pick on women. fucking cowards.

It's a convenient distraction from the Jan 6th hearings and to keep people from talking about the FBI raiding Trump's DOJ lacky, or the fact that numerous senators asked for pre-emptive pardons.

We knew this was coming it was always the plan. It will end up hurting southern states. It doesn't affect me or my girls because we can afford to go where ever if we needed services. It hurts the poverty filled red states more.

Most people don't realize it's the first step to losing your privacy completely. They've opened the door to intrude on my medical care as a woman. It's only a matter of time before they're looking into your morally corrupt activities and linking it to violence, rape, etc.

I forgot to mention the court also decided last week that we don't need Miranda rights... and just for clarification bullets and guns aren't mentioned in the constitution. The bullet wasn't even invented for something like 75 years later.

If people actually understand the law and why it was overturned, you would understand. Nothing is going to change….little whores and crack heads can still get their abortions…..there is no mention of abortion in the constitution and it’s not a protected right so, they just have to go to a state that allows it.
its not so much the right to go to states that perform them. its the fact the govt still has a strong hold on womens rights with their bodies.

if this was about men, there wouldnt be this discussion.

Oh no! Some whore may have to use birth control. Where is her rights. She should be able to take that nut and allow life to start then snuff it out. It's almost like it's the 1980s and 90s again. Oh boo fucking hoo.
Careful what you wish for, you're still liable for your splooge. Birth control for the poor usually came from planned parenthood. Contraception access is also in jeopardy. Jane's revenge will be seeking maternal fetal support. Within no time there will be cases a pregnancy fraud, extortion.

Some of you may never get laid now.

I was careful for 20 years and got married. My wife has birth control. If it happens then I will care for it and raise it even if I wasn't ready for one. Birth control is free at least of some kind. We could get rubbers at school for crying out loud. Rape and the mothers life being in danger is different stories but getting knocked up cause of laziness isn't.

Fortunately I am not from there. I do agree poverty is a cycle and gets perpetuated over and over again. Seems in the u.s. economic forces and business practices allowed by law are all stacked against the poorer class. One reason for the high crime rate in large cities and small towns alike. As for “murdering” children, a collective of cells resembling a tadpole (had to look up the correct word in English) can hardly be called a child yet. Granted, once gestation advances into the 3rd trimester, abortions should be allowed only for special cases of defect or life threatening situations. I also find it ironic that the wails Of “murder” are so loud amongsth the life at all cost people, but mass murder in classrooms seems to be the norm. Hence my comment of “after the child is born, you’re on your own kid”. For a nation which calles itself “The Best In The World” and a “First World Becon”, seems like it has more in common with 3rd world “shitholes” than the citizens would like to admit. I’m sure next on the block will be the rights of gays. Your nation is only as strong as its weakest and most unprotected citizens. I have a personal motto, “Don’t believe in abortion? Don’t have one. Don’t believe in Gay Marriage, don’t enter into one. Don’t believe in God? Don’t go to or support a church.” I also believe in one commandment and it serves me well. IN LIFE, DONT BE A DICK!

Birth control isn't free and it isn't even covered by insurance in many cases. Female healthcare cost more and even our menstrual products are taxed. That's like 30 years of additional state and federal income per female. I live in the bible belt and they don't even teach birth control at all here, they preach abstinence, and that has never worked. 10 - 15% of my daughter's graduating class has been raised by a grandparent because the teen parent is absent, drug addicted, or died from a drug overdose. Rape and incest weren't included in most of the trigger states laws so they can't abort those. There's also questions about the legality of taking someone underage across state lines to have an abortion. That means it would be a felony to take your raped daughter to have an abortion in another state because she's the property of the state.

The only rubbers being passed out around here are the ones my neighbor drops in teenagers trick or treat bags at Halloween.

As soon as my daughter started bleeding we got birth control for her. Cause we know what teens do. Condoms are not hard to get and yes they have been free. I live in the Bible belt too. The sex ed here isn't that great. If you throw your legs up and caution to the wind then deal with what might come with that. The guilt of killing a family member before birth should haunt a person. I personally have a cousin who has delt with it her whole life. I never knew she had been pregnant and got an abortion or I would have begged her not to and would have helped with the bills to raise the child. It's murder in the worst way. That person's on blood.

I'm pro choice with some restrictions on time frames but I'm also aware there are circumstances that warrant the procedure later. I don't advocate for abortion and I believe people should and can make better choices. Planned parenthood was a means of educating young girls on options, and providing birth control, and basic reproductive care for the poor for free. My cousin is adopted. She was a saved abortion from a drug abusing mother that was prostituting herself for drug money. She was considering an abortion through planned parenthood when she was connected to my aunt. My aunt and uncle took on her rehab expenses, medical care, gave her money and adopted her baby girl. She's all grown up and doing great and I wouldn't change a thing but I also wouldn't want the right for her to control her body to be taken away. I don't believe the government should be looking at my medical information.

Sorry don't agree. You may think it's only a ball of cells but many see it as a child, it's a unique string of DNA with the ability to become a person, have a life and raise a family itself. From that individual thousands of offspring could be spawn. Its not just a ball of cells. Playing it off as a tadpole is exactly what is wrong with pro lifers. You've dehumanised life for the benefit of yourself. It is murder, no matter how you try to disguise it.

I am not American, nor do I advocate for the population to be armed. As always examples such as that are just used to divert the argument. The topic is abortion. There are many issues with society, many systematic problems, many social problems and many issues as a result of lack of self responsibility. All of which are irrelevant to the topic being discussed.

Killing a child because you made a mistake is not the fault of the child, it never should be. It's not empowerment or any right of an individual, its just plain murder. If the life of the woman is not directly at risk I see no reason to justifiably end a life. In no other circumstances would this be justified.

When rape is concerned, thats a different topic and one which is very difficult to answer. It's not fair a woman should be punished for no fault of her own, nor should the child. It's a complex discussion that should be excluded from the initial debate of if abortion due to making mistakes shouldbe legal. Fortunately pregnancy through rape makes up an tiny proportion of cases.
