IMO abortions should be legal, end of story. But like all sorts of other legal activities its not something that's enshrined in The Constitution. Gun ownership should also be legal but it is Constitutionally protected. Even someone as thick as you should be able to understand the difference.

I'm about as pro-gun as you can get but one law/regulation that I think would work somewhat is a waiting period. Not that it would solve everything but if you're in a rage of some sort and you rush out to a gun store (if you don't already have one) and then have to wait 24, 72 hours or whatever and have time to cool down, it could save live(s).

I wouldn't really feel inconvenienced or infringed upon if I had to wait a few days to take possession of a weapon I purchased (although I build most of my rifles at home with barrels, triggers, etc that I ordered separately.)

Not impossible if you have a job and no living expenses. My daughter had saved over 6k by the time she graduated high school. All from part-time employment as a restaurant hostess for two years.

There shouldn't be wait times for abortions either. Not every abortion is done out of irresponsibility. Some women need abortions as a life-saving procedure as the pregnancy has malfunctioned and could/would kill them. I'm not anti-abortion

I'm also aware that the constitutions doesn't mention AR-15s (nor does it mention muskets any other type of arms). It's being reported on NBC that there were multiple 911 calls from inside the classroom begging the police to save them. A surviving child has stated that Ramos shot one girl when she was calling 911. He barricaded himself in a classroom full of children and the good guys with guns waited outside not wanting to be shot by an 18 year old with a legal AR15. Banning guns will only accelerate the need to want more guns from criminals so they will do it illegally and still have weapons regardless of what the law says. There is a huge black market for these guns and people will stop at nothing to attain them regardless of tight restrictions and background checks.

You already have to have a class 3 firearm license to own an assault rifle. Getting a class 3 firearm license is arduous and expensive, not to mention the cost of actually purchasing a select-fire weapon. You could probably count on your fingers and toes the number of class 3 license holders in each state.
