How do you draw a line at animal abuse when you use this site like everyone else lol
Again-- animals are the epitome of innocence, right next to toddlers (but less defenseless). Animal abusers understand the power they have over them, and it's the tip of the iceberg of the type of cruelty they can exact on other living beings. If a person feels fine torturing, maiming, or even sexually abusing something that can't think or defend itself, you have to imagine what they'd do to a human person. Then again, some people probably only do it to animals and not humans because they're cowards.

People come to this site for different reasons, mostly curiosity and educational purposes, but enjoying animal abuse is sadistic and you will be tarred and feathered

Lol where is the line for animal abuse? Are these videos of animals being tortured for entertainment or are they just being slaughtered at farm for meat and fur? You gotta clearly define animal abuse because us farmers already get enough shite from these peta folk thinking eating meat is the definition of animal abuse. Like I’m all for not torturing animals, don’t get me wrong, but I also raise my own meat and find great purpose in it. I don’t want to loose the ability to educate myself for free on proper dispatch methods just because some people can’t handle seeing a bunny or goat get killed.

Killing for food is different than abuse imo; if I’m not mistaken, that luka dude vacuum sealed/suffocated kittens? That’s not killing for food, that’s killing for “fun” in his own demented way. If you can mercifully kill a cow purely for food, and not make it suffer in any way, then I wouldn’t exactly consider that abuse

If an animal is prepared correctly in a humane way. They should not be feeling any pain. I read about this because again, I had to know. The animal should be unconscious by the time it gets to the point where an actual killing is done. No pain should be experienced.
If none of us ate meat. The world would be immensely overpopulated with animals. We'd be overrun.
Diseases would spread between them then to us. We'd all suffer that way.
I don't agree with P.E.T.A. in that one way. I agree no animal should be killed merely for their skin or fur though.
Eating animals for their meat is part of nature as long as it is done properly.
Even lions, tigers Etc. know to kill their prey instantly by going for the jugular vein, making them bleed to death as quickly as possible.
It's a part of nature. And even animals themselves know to do it in a humane way.
To have the ability to abuse an animal though, it's very scary of just how soulless and heartless a person must be.

PETA are animal abusers but people somehow aren't ready for that conversation yet. Remember the lawsuits of them kidnapping people's animals from their yards just to euthanize them for no reason?

But yeah, the devourment/hunting/food commercialism of animals isn't abuse and people have become an important part of the ecological system-- there can be overfishing and overhunting, but that's why rules for those types of things are in place. The only types of exceptions I can think of are things like lobsters... you gotta boil those suckers alive.

Because they can differentiate between humans and animals

The difference is about innocence I imagine for most.
I.E., & pardon me while I play devil's advocate for a moment but, if one sees a 15 YO kid get beat a bit by heavily armed men then, per the sentence passed by a cartel "crime court" (for example) for the 15 YO's role in helping to kidnap & traffic >50 very young children for the black market organ harvesting trade, & they then behead that 15 YO...that's very different than some sadistic male paying a prostitute to cut the head off of a lil kitten & stomp it's brains out in some ugly high heel shoes while he records it or idk, ppl microwaving a lil helpless animal for shits & giggles b/c they have the psychopathy. 🤷‍♀️
Those non-human animals didn't do anything to anyone. 😾

Very well said and furthermore the newer laws passed about watching/posting a video of an incident that all ready occured versus making it seem to be misunderstood by a lot of gore enthusiasts I've noticed. Posting for advocacy (not entertainment as I do not mean those that distribute it for profit) really needs to be written more clearly.
Idk what was posted on this forum OP mentioned but, it sounded like for entertainment & the joy of torturing animals but, oof some folks think you post a video about an incorrectly slaughtered animal method or post a chicken fight in a Mexican Walmart of all places, for advocacy reasons, you're an animal abuser or something & they way over react.
If you cannot handle even watching a video of an event that all ready took place first of all & convey your thoughts about it clearly & only act in an extreme manner, tbf, you shouldn't watch it but, those types also detract from anti-animal cruelty advocacy methods. There's definitely those type of extremists at PETA. They may grab headlines with their extremist actions but, they hurt overall methods for stopping cruelty to animals. 😑

You're supposed to insert a needle into the lobster's brain or something aren't you, so, they don't make that screaming sound when you place them in a rolling boil?
Is that just a lie to make me feel better?

It's a lie, because lobsters can't actually scream and don't have lungs the way we have them! They don't even have the mouth parts to form any sort of noise. If you ever hear a 'scream' from boiling lobster, it's actually steam escaping from the shell as it's cooked.
