This event took place several years ago in Tanhauto, Michoacan, Mexico, near it's border with Jalisco (CJNG territory). Federal Police raided a remote CJNG cartel-affiliated ranch and warehouse after one of their units was fired on by a truck they tried to pull over. They received word that a remote property was housing many gunmen and cartel members. About 100 Federal Police, including a Black Hawk helicopter, were eventually part of a shootout that would last for 3 hours Most of the police had come in as calls for back-ups were made by the original units). In the end, 43 sicarios and 1 police officer were dead.

The police had allegedly called, over a mega-phone, to the gunmen to surrender but they refused and continued to fire. A number of gunmen had hidden in a warehouse and were shooting at the Black Hawk when the helicopter returned fire (shooting through the corrugated tin roof) and many fled into the fields, where they were shot.

This isn't all of the photos but gives folks a good idea of how many were killed.

If you were a gunman, and you were in a shootout with the police, should you REALLY have your AK47 safety engaged?
I have a feeling some of those firearms have been strategically placed on the corpses after their death.... something like this might happen if the police were corrupt and working for another cartel.... you could REALLY eliminate your competition pretty easily if you're a Sicario AND a police officer at the same time!

I live 2 hours from border is southern arizona. Iv noticed when I try to talk with people about. Everyone gives the same responce. They don't care about it! They say stuff to me about why do I talk about it so much? They genuinely DONT CARE ABOUT IT. Its a two hour drive to Mexico and they just don't care. Has anyone else experience this?

Imagine trying to take on a Blackhawk with a few rifles, now if they had some RPGs (which I'm surprised they did not) they may have stood a chance of downing it - but then still they would still have to deal with the ground forces - all clad in body armor while you're barefoot in jeans - and that one poor guy in his underpants (probably sleeping when the attack started).
The Guy in the Underpants was probably Masturbating to a Picture of your Mother.

The border is a mess. Well armed cartel groups already patrol the US border and the current fed Gov is all for it. Americans have no idea what is going on. Fuck the MSM.
