So, I have trouble grasping the intent and endgame on what exactly Hamas thought they would have gained frome the attck on the Israeli territory.
Wether they thought that in doing so, this would bring the other terrorist organizations into the fray, which was a very bad miscalculation as it did not.
So, in doing so, it has brought so much death and destruction to the Palestinian people. One would think that in doing what they did, and then because of the end result bringing it back to their front door, there would have been some kind of uprising within Gaza.
Guess the palestinians have still, not suffered enough to remove those who brought hell to thier home.

Hamas used this horrible brutality to egg Israel into a full scale war in their own defense..they did this, so once Israel declares war, other enemy countries will all converge on Israel and annihilate Israel..if Hamas just attacked like usual, Israel would not have gone into a war over it, just sent a few missiles in normal retaliation..so Hamas sent over killers to murder innocent people, knowing it would cause Israel to declare full war..They plan to ambush Israel..

I would suggest that your theory is only missing the concept of the split psychological grouping of sunni muslims from other muslims. You may notice that Palestinians are generally sunni, Iran's government is controlled by sunni's, Lebanon's government, Syria's government, and several others. They all a share a psychological grouping that encourages them to destabilize other countries that are not sunni controlled.

Iran is controlled by Shia Islam.So is Iraq which is basically a proxy state of Iran.Most of the rest are Sunni Islam in the Middle East by majority.Iran just doesn't like Israel just like the majority of the Middle East that follow Islam.Same for most of the rest of the Islamic world.
