I could have coordinated the response better than this administration, in fact I'm probably more experienced than most of his staff. Even the smallest localities plan for certain types of events and have written operational procedures in place. We've been doing major drills for disasters since the early nineties, including terrorism, plane crashes, chemical spills, and bio terrorism. This administration was given a plan, and they threw it out. Cutting the funding cut the staff needed to track and trace from day one, like S. Korea did. This administration removed qualified personnel from key positions and inserted business interests, and Jared Kushner to head the US response. Governors and Mayors are not privy to intelligence, the buck stops at the oval office.
You must have missed DrJ's earlier post, thousands of Chinese people still got in because he and the GOP are so inept they can't even properly close the border when given the opportunity. They flew to Canada or Mexico and then flew into the US.

Not bitter, but I am a little concerned for my family and friends in the surrounding areas. The rural south is going to be hurt by this as well. Some towns don't even have hospitals, it's going to be sad for many people, red and blue.
