I uh, I did. But then, my mom and I have an awesome relationship. So I'm probably an exception.
Lols, well some do and that's awesome that you did. My kids did the same (although not to their mom) with me. I have no idea why except that I was just a parent that tried to always keep communication open.

Cudos :)

All good stuff, if it makes people feel better. But did ya not read the story? She didn't commit suicide by drinking bleach (Clorox) - she hung herself.

She did try an earlier suicide attempt by drinking bleach but that didn't kill her. She just ended up in a place where I found myself a few years ago - certified for 14 to 30 days.

Posts like this have nothing to do with gore - they're just troll posts and although all of us love our blood-splattered gore images...this is not gore and the point in posting it is lost to me.
Yes DH, I've read about it and that's funny pictures as in jokes.

Explain? you tried to kill yourself by drinking bleach?

PS: Why not use an hero using a handgun or a shotgun and have a friend post it here on GG? :umad:

It's called comedy in poor taste. You should try it sometime. It can feel quite rewarding, if you let it.
Nah, not in a case like this. I have posted so much gore...you name it, I've posted it - thousands of stories, faces, people, families...but it is a very rare time when I make fun of what I post and the people that I have posted about. I leave that to other people that change the gore into their own sense of fun, or, "comedy in poor taste."

The day that I do look at gore that way and find it "quite rewarding" to mock it is the day I stop posting gore.

Refusing to sink to our level of debauchery. Have it your way.

Ya, this is the first place that I would think of explaining anything. Bleach? No, I didn't do that route. It really doesn't matter what I did - or does it?

Bleach is a terrible way to go. I've heard stories of people throwing themselves out windows in agony after drinking bleach as it slowly eats away at their insides.

Well, I'm just curious. Maybe you didn't listen to White Zombie back then (as in something that motivates/turns s/o on), perhaps that's why you had suicidal thoughts. Most people have them anyway.

I don't. The closest my mind has wandered to suicidal thoughts is looking at what other people have done to themselves and thinking "God, I wonder what that felt like."
Read what I wrote above my child. I said "Most" not "Everyone in this planet".

Been there since Rob started White Zombie. But I canna think of one song that alludes to what you're saying (ie: suicide). And ya, research shows that most people (White Zombie or not) think of suicide atleast once in their lifetime either when they were young, when a teenager, when they reach middle-age, or into the serious senior years - a no-brainer, I suppose.

"Suck in your gut. Unlike before yea, unlike before, if you murder." A good ole' WZ song.

And with that, I hate to say it...but we're all way off topic. Although, this would be a great topic in another thread - but I think it's already been covered.

This thread isn't about what we like, what we do, what we think, what we think others should do or think, who we think are weak or strong, or what the gods' simple-stone-written-word is, but simply about a girl who committed suicide.

We, even as gore hounds, can atleast give her that. If not, then ya, another thread would help deal with it all.

Perhaps the idea of suicide isn't always derived from a no-brainer. Quite often the opposite when occurring to individuals dealing with life struggles/issues they sometimes decide to end their lives with little to no thought, as they feel life devoid of meaning for perhaps the first time (wall street?). It's usually got nothing to do with 'lack of values' whether they're moral/ethical, social, etc., at least not those worshiped by most.
Some say it's a way nature and it's life derived intertia what generates the instinct of self-termination (ie. as in wild animals)
Some others call it post-modernity, but men have commited suicide in every age, no matter what creed, religion, country or race they have belonged in.

Either way at least people today are more willing to admit that they have thoughts of "an hero" themselves.

Amanda's Mom Speaks Out

Oct. 19, 2012.

Carol Todd: “We did everything we could. And ultimately at the end, I’m not even going to say it wasn’t enough. We did everything possible ... short of being with her 24/7. I would have had to strap her onto me in order to watch her 24/7, but things can happen even when the whole family is in the house at the same time.”

Amanda’s parents were separated. When Amanda was in Grade 7, she went to live with her father. After two years — last March — she came back to live with her mom. Carol had her room redecorated, the “princess” room her daughter always wanted.

'Anonymous' Names A New Troll
While Another Is Fired From His Job

Oct. 20, 2012.

"The Vancouver area man who was named by the hacker group Anonymous as being Amanda Todd’s tormentor denied the allegations and pointed the finger to another online figure, Viper.

Today Anonymous released detailed online records for Viper, including a profile on an online website known for sharing child pornography.

The records, similar to one released earlier this week by Anonymous linked to another online profile, Kody1206, document a dark side of the Internet, where anonymous cybersurfers capture sexualized images and video of underage youth, sharing them in forums and on websites and seeing their creations lauded in mocking online awards, the “Capper Awards.”

Meanwhile, as the bullying that Amanda endured during her life continues after her death with viscous and vitriolic statements appearing online, a London, Ontario man has lost his job for mocking the dead teen on a memorial page set up in her memory. Amanda, who was 15, died last week, an apparent suicide, after months and years of online stalking and harassment that spilled over into school yard bullying."

It seems that you have misunderstood what I said. I didn't say that kids are "dealing with it" as if they just pass it off in some literal sense and accept it or that parents should - I was saying that this is something that kids today have to deal with. Read my post, above, again.

And the parents are not to blame in all of these cases: did you tell your parents every single move of your teenage life? Did you tell them when you had sex, when you got yourself off, when you cheated on a test at school, when you smoked the best bowl of hash, when you stole their liquor and puked in the kitchen sink, when you didn't eat your veggies and gave it to the dog instead, or when you kicked the shit outta some annoying little shit at school?

In most cases, the parents simply don't know.
Perhaps you misunderstood what I said....when you say they deal with it, you sound as if you believe the internet is a modern day hazard for kids that we all simply have to accept and adapt to, in the same way the poor have to accept and adapt to the inevitable hardships of life without money or kids in the Ukraine have to deal with radiation. The internet however, is entirely avoidable! And all the mental tortures it holds for the young and impressionable can be ended with the pull of a plug. Yes, you're right when you point out that most young people will 'keep' things from their parents, but you miss the point about parental responsibility in cases where their kids drink bleach!! I can assure you that any responsible parent would begin a thorough investigation into the more secretive side of their kids lives after they find them lying on the floor next to an empty bottle of 'draino'.....I know I would! After I would be scrutinizing every second of my kids daily activities until I came to the most likely cause of their pain.......but in her case her parents seem to have failed miserably to connect the dots! The idea of kids dealing with being online is as ridiculous as dealing with over eating or dealing with holidays in Croydon!! Any parent who misses the alarm bells of attempted suicide and hasn't figured shit out by the time their kids succeeds in offing themselves, has a huge amount of responsibility!

So uh... I thought Anonymous was responsible for this. And now they are trying to avenge her? Since when does Anonymous give a flying shit about someone who they would have considered a "camwhore"? Since when is Anonymous a vigilante group for good? When I used to be Anonymous they were just a bunch of heartless jerkoffs who did nothing more than raid Habbo Hotel, hack facebook pages, and set up Denial of Service attacks on pages they decided on a whim they did not like. Things must have changed since I left.
