Let It All Bleed Out
Always seems that gore sites have a thread or two on dead German soldiers from WW1 and/or WW2, but rarely one on any of the Allied losses. These won't be brand new images, most will recognize them, some will be new, but I'm going to group them all into one thread. Images of US dead are not difficult to find while ones of British and Canadians are: very few of both and usually are from the same battle. The images I have of the Americans will be posted first and then the Brits and Canadians.

This will be a compilation thread where I'll be posting images up in sets as usual. To see details of the images just hover your mouse over it :)

According to Britannica.com, an estimated 40,000,000 to 50,000,000 people died during World War II.

Among the Allied powers, the U.S.S.R. suffered the greatest total number of dead: perhaps 18,000,000. An estimated 5,800,000 Poles died, which was 20 percent of Poland’s prewar population. About 298,000 Americans died.

Among the Axis powers, there were about 4,200,000 German deaths and about 1,972,000 Japanese deaths.

Western air and naval forces tended to suffer a much higher percentage of deaths among their combat casualties than did Western ground forces. The U.S. Navy lost 31,157 killed in action out of a total of 62,858 combat casualties in the Pacific, a figure of nearly 50%. The U.S. Army Air Forces lost 15,694 dead and missing out of a total of 24,230 casualties in the Pacific, a figure of 65%.

Total U.S. combat casualties in the war against Japan were 111,606 dead or missing and another 253,142 wounded.

In Consideration of the US massmurder when Bombing German Cities and killing innocent civilians , it is a reasonable Price they payed. None called you over. Nevertheless I am and was always a friend of the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA......:approved:

Let It All Bleed Out
Dead Canadian soldiers of WW2 (final set)

There aren't many photos of Canadian soldiers who fell in WW2 and most concentrate on the same events/battles, such as the failed raid of Dieppe. Stats indicate that 40,090 Canadians died in the war, with almost 1,600,000 having served. Often photos of Canadians can be confused with those of British soldiers since their helmets, equipment and uniforms were quite the same.

Looks like they were walking into an ambush. I saw a video of Hezbollah fighters walking into the ISIS ambush, the aftermath looked pretty much the same.

Yes, they were ambushed as they got onto the beach by Japanese soldiers hiding in a wrecked landing craft.

Set 6 picture #1 looks like a bin just full of guys that head their heads destroyed. Awesome collection man. Always interesting looking back at these guys (kids) who fought the worst war in history so far, and died before they ever had a chance to leave it…
