I'm sure it's different now, or in other places. I it locked up back in '86. Gave me 25 years...I did 17 of that shit. There were only a handful of other juveniles that I ever met. But shared a cell with some pretty weird dude's over the years, including Arthur Bremer who shot Gov. Wallace.

that's so interesting! I've always wondered what effects on my psyche would killing someone have. I'd like to think of myself as a strong person, but when I see roadkill, or to be honest, any dead animal, I feel a compelling urge to cry

Exactly. Both my father and his friend were hunters for a long time, spent weekends outside shooting different animals (and making good food with them), clearly, they had experience in what it is to take a life, however, the effect of killing a human being appears to be something completely different. At least it was like that with his friend. I think it's something that you can not know if you are capable and what you are going to feel until you do it.
